Startup Weekend
If you want to get a taster for an accelerator program - check out "Startup Weekend". Startup Weekend is an intense 54 hour event which focuses on building the basis of a credible business over the course of a weekend. The weekend brings together people with different skill sets - primarily software developers, marketers, designers and business people - to develop a business concept and build a commercial case around it. The good people behind HyperStart (Dave, Stef and Campbell) are also involved in Startup Weekends in New Zealand (and beyond).
